About Us
Amy and Julie, the founders of our boutique consulting firm, have a deep personal connection to the work they do, which stems from their own family experiences and the stories of those around them. Witnessing their own loved ones navigate the complex process of finding suitable residences and making important decisions regarding aging in place inspired Amy and Julie to create a business that would provide compassionate and comprehensive support to seniors and their families.
Julie’s grandmother, facing health challenges, struggled to find a comfortable and safe environment that catered to her specific needs. This experience highlighted the importance of finding a residence that not only met physical requirements but also fostered a sense of community and fulfilled emotional well-being. Amy’s grandmother, on the other hand desired to remain in her own home as she aged, but needed guidance on modifying her living space and coordinating healthcare services to ensure her safety and comfort.
Motivated by these personal experiences, Amy and Julie embarked on a journey to gain in-depth knowledge and expertise in senior care and consulting. They pursued and obtained their Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA) certification, which equipped them with a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and considerations faced by seniors and their families.
